He still messes the place up: every door frame is scratched, wall papers reaped off in the hall, while Snorri lived they tore down the phone lines - now we put the lines into the walls, so Rangoon added carpets to his enemy list. But those are at least cat-proof. He has a mountain of toys, but usually ignores them, but he needs attention and is jealous of the dog - he´d like to follow for the walks.

Yes, he walks on a leash and quite willingly. When Snorri was alive I did walk both of them on the leash - Norwegian forrest cats like acting like dogs, so he wanted and Rangoon didn´t want to stay behind. Then, we travel across Europe with cats, first - and during stops they had to be on leash, so we walked them that way. Since we have a dog, Rangoon stays home. But at the beginning, when I leashed the dog, he would follow us till the gate and then cry, when we went out, While traveling, we walk them together on leash. It causes sometimes a sensation, because dobermanns have a bad reputation: but it makes it also easier for us, because people seeing cat and dog together stop fearing the dog.
Of course its possible only, when all other dogs are on leash, but in public places it´s usually the case.

Fabio is just a kittlen, perhaps a little more sensitive than others. My cats were a little bit quiet after vaccinations, but didn´t show any negative signs - however the vet told me to keep them calm for a while, as vaccine weakens them for a short time.
Nevertheless you should proceed with vacs every year - it protects him.
But cats have more will power than we think, just look at Mimi and her fight against the cancer!
You´re living in a big town - consider carefully your walks with Fabio outside, I took Rangoon and Snorri once for a walk in a big city - on a rather calm street. But there was traffic, and trams - a lot of noise for a cat living in the country. Snorri wasn´t bothered much, but Rangoon panicked. The last thing you want to have on your hands is a panicky cat on the street full with people and traffic!

I think I could be a personal character treat. My dog used to be afraid of noise, run home, when a military plane was flying low. When we made firework he would retreat to the cave, while Snorri just wandered about in the garden. On the other hand Snorri used to have a lot of adventures because he just didn´t stop to think but leaped. He found out about the world in the hard way, by personal experience. Rangoon thinks three times before moving a whisker.
Might be a breed difference too, Anyway, in the beginning Snorri landed at the vet about once a week - as a follow up of his adventures, and ended under a speeding car. Rangoon is cautious, but it didn´t protect him from a disease.

Hi Po-chien, I´m sort of into some of the Japanese annimation. Lately I´ve gotten addicted to one of their video games - Tales of Symphonia. Do you play video games? I´m also a big fan of Final Fantasy. Other than that, I have watched most of the more famous animation movies that came to North America. My Neighbor Totoro is definitely one of my favorites, and the music is great too.
