Introduction

There are no ordinary cats. ~ Collette

Betsey is no exception. She is far removed from ordinary and she is very, very special to me. It´s hard to describe the feeling I get when I look into her beautiful eyes and stroke her soft fur. It must be love, but I sometimes think that with Betsey, it´s the kind of warm fuzzy love feeling that is normally bestowed upon children.

Nikki was an intelligent creature who loved to be outside. She loved the smell of grass and she would sit for hours sunning herself on a warm summer day. She was affectionate and loving. She was a hunter. She was beautiful, with soulful green eyes,that endeared her to me forever. I miss her and I love her and I think of her because she too was no ordinary cat.

Chrissy was the only cat I raised from kittenhood. She was a sweetheart from the beginning. I really think she thought I was her mom and often she would knead my shoulder and purr loudly in my ear. As she grew older, she had eyes only for me. I truly believe that her love ran deep, as did mine. She was my only lap cat and while she was in my lap she purred, especially if I stroked her and talked to her. Gosh, I miss her. She died in 1991 of renal failure. I cried for days and I still cry because...she was oh so very special

Greetings from Sophie who thanks you telling her she´s pretty (and says "I know"). Sophie´s an only cat, the others have been fostercats that she shared her space with. They enriched my life so I think of them as mine. Cheers to you and lovely Betsey!

Oh, Betsey, thanks! I am second most patted cat in my house now--only Kittibits has more pats than me-ow! Cisco is behind but he is so busy planning the cat party he doesn´t care. But I do! And thanks for the new toy. I sent you a longer cat mail just now.
