Introduction

I am owned by five mixed breed cats who adopted the house at various points - Qusay, Push and Bush (formerly there was also Uday but he wandered off as a kitty and we never saw him again) came from the same litter of a neighbourhood alley cat who gave birth in our warm shoe cupboard under the stairs. Then came Ben and Dick, the orphans who were left at our doorstep, and who turned out to be wonderful additions to the house. As a matter of fact, the house belongs entirely to these cats and I think they just about tolerate having me around!
