i have never seen a dog up close....but i hear they smell and drool a lot. if they ruled the world, it would be stinky and wet all the time

Hi there..I have a question for ya. My cat Cotton gets alot of Matts on her back. I am taking her to the vets this friday(Shh don´t tell her) and it is going to cost a fortune to get her shaved..I have brushed Cotton every day and she still gets matts. How do I stop her from getting them?
