Introduction

I was born in Italy and moved to Zimbabwe in 1970 at the age of six and stayed there until 2006 when due to the country´s deteriorating economy my husand and I moved to Italy. I have a daughter whom I sent to Italy in 2004 to begin her High School education as the Zimbabwean schools that were good were way beyond my secretarial salary and as my folks were already here I sent her to them. I missed having cats around me as they had been a part of my life since practically our move to Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia) and so when we moved into a place of our own, my husband, unbeknownst to me, spoke to our landlord and asked him if we could get a cat. He agreed and so the very next day I was bustled into the car, taken back to the pet shop where, the day before, I had seen a beautiful but very timid grey and white kitten, and that´s how Mishka came into our lives.

Hi....You have to fantastic cats...I love Valentine´s Abbygayle ears...she looks very goooood!...
Anyway....I wanted to thank you....I do speak English in fact...I don´t know if it´s very good but I try to do my best...!
Can I be curious...How is it that you moved to Zimbabwe...?It´s a fantastic country...and I´m fascinated by it....

Thanks for your pats for Harry. He was found almost starved to death on a road and the RSPCA rescued him and revieved him - he wasn´t expected to survive. He has been a real blessing to me, so maybe he was just meant to survive? Your cats look beautiful. So glad you still have a way to remember Abby

We eat Fancy Feast for wet and Iams for dry. We are too prone to getting cat sand in our bladders and blocking up if we eat the wrong stuff. And that HURTS and makes you real sick so there´s no point even meowing about it. Mom loves us too much to give in.
Besides, we like Iams and Fancy Feast (only one flavor though. Mom buys all the cans the stores have when she sees them)

You live in Italy so they might not have Fancy Feast there. It is tinned food. Our favorite is grilled salmon in gravy. I REALLY like the gravy!

Thanks for the name suggestions - they´re both spot-on - Romeo because he´s such a softy and Dusty - well you´ve got the colour just right. I´ve already almost decided on "Baileys" after the cream liqueur because that´s just the right colour and he looks all creamy and sweet.
