Introduction

I´m a first time cat care-giver. I prefer care-giver instead of owner as we never really own our cats [more like they own us!]. My furries are all rescue cats, rescued from the park, rain, eatries, drain....and they were really tiny then but just at the right time for character development, though with Suki he is pretty much set in his ways. I´m happy to say that they have turned out to be really sweet and a joy to be with. Now, I´ve always wondered what would have happen to me if I have never had a cat. And my cats are now a very important part of my life and in every decision that I have to make.

Never thought that I will ever learn to love cats as I have always had dogs and thought that cats were "stuck-up". Hahaha....but I still love dogs too and have totally changed my views of cats. Of course, you have to get to know them at their own terms....And in a way, I would say that my wishes has been granted, I have always loved Siamese cats, I have one which is part Siamese ~ Suki, at the time when I wanted a black cat, I was given a tuxedo, which I also equally love and not forgetting ginger cats...and it was Fries who taught me to love kitties...

Thanks so much for our lovely gifts. The teddy bear is so cute and Cleo has already snuggled up with him and Lillie is busy chasing her mouse (she´s a bit slow so I think that game will last for awhile!)

Thank you for my mousie. I love playing with them. They are my favourite toy. I am going to be very careful with this one and try not to hit it under the fridge where all the mousies usually end up!!

Thanks a lot for ur good wishes . I asked all my friends on UC not only those who are my buddies but the whole UC community to pray for me. Yeah ur mom is right Mellies, I look very similar to Fries. My humans say that Fries Friday looks more similar to their dear cat (and my sister) Katty, than me. Fries remind them of Katty not only because of her appearance but also because of her name as Katty passed away on Friday .
