Introduction

I´m married to Tim and am photo-journalist. Thandi is my first pure-bred cat, of whom I terribly proud. She is the joy of our lives. We live in Dordrecht, where we own a B&B and various businesses. It is a small town, high up in the mountains, with beautiful scenary. Tim is from Zimbabwe, and I originate from the 1820 settlers, my forefathers came from "Bradfield" in England. We love South Africa. Thandi is written about in a weekly column for a newspaper called ´The Barkly East Reporter". We adore our purry, furry adorable Exotic Persian, Thandi!!! Her name means ´love´ in Xhosa. We have now adopted a mixed cat bred cat, Mister Thomas MacNabs, from the SPCA. He was rescued in the Indwe Township, where he was found in a very bad state. We took MacNabs to the Vet and he has never looked back! He is probably the most affectionate cat we know of! He and Thandi get on tremendously well, although wasn´t like that in the beginning, but we overcame that, and we´re one very close-knit cat-loving family!
