Introduction

Just to be clear...Sophie is my only permanent cat (for now). She was adopted from the Humane Society when she was a year old (and hiding in her cage). She learned to trust and love me, and I´m forever grateful. All the other kitties I have posted here have been fostercats who have enriched our hearts and home and received some TLC before going to their forever families. I think of them as ours because a little of their spirit lives on in our home and our lives. I volunteer for two local animal rescue societies and I foster cats and kittens. When I adopted Sophie I tried to learn as much as I could about cat health and behaviour and with the fostering it´s come to good use. Sophie has taught me a great deal about cats - she´s been my best teacher in fact. And I hope I´ve been her best friend.

There were too many strange smells and noises and I was just a bit frightened. But a lot of love and a whole bunch of treats really work. I´m good now and I love my mom a lot for bringing me home. Sophie you are a sweetheart and my you have a lot of cats to keep you company and they are all pretty just like you. Hugs from me and my mom.
