Introduction

I am the owner of Crunchy... or rather, she owns me! But over-all she is my girl... my baby-cat!
------------------------------------------------------------
I just want to add here, how I got such a wonderful kitty in my life... now that I figured it out...

In the late winter or early spring of 2007, a stray female cat started coming around. She came on our warmer closed in porch, to get away from the cold Canadian winter. My dad didn´t want strays coming around, but she kept coming back to get out of the cold. I took pitty on her, and put a box with styrofoam around the insides and covered it with a blanket. She got right in. My dad didn´t notice for quite a while that she was still around. I eventually started puttiing food out there. She got bigger, until by March I noticed she was probably pregnant. So I fed her a bit more.
By April, she was very noticably pregnant. My dad saw her there one day and said she had to go. I told him that we just couldn´t let her out in the cold nights in her condition. "Dad, She´s pregnant" I said. My dad quickly changed his mind and said, "Well, let her in then."

For the rest of April and part of May, she lived in the basement. I took care of her to make sure she was fed and comfortable. On May 2nd, 2007, in the afternoon we all noticed she was acting funny. I took her in the house (she had roamed outside earlier that day), and she found a place under my bed. By 6:30 in the evening she was in labour, and by about 6:40 she had given birth to a little black and white kitten, as the evening progressed, three white kittens with identical little gray patches on their heads, were born... then at around 11:30 she gave birth to the last one. A little gray and white one. The one I now call "Crunchy".

The reason I call her that is because. I was alerted to her birth, because "mommy-cat" accidentally bit her little gray tail, (same color the umbilical cord was), and it gave a little crunching noise-- almost like mommy was eating kibble. I quickly rescued little Crunchy´s tail from her moms mouth. Once Crunchy was cleaned and dried up, I held her (much to her mommys complaint) to inspect. I immediately fell in love with her.

And that is the story of my cat Crunchy.

I thin your Crunchy is the most beautiful cat. I love that gorgeous face of hers. I think grey cats are so very beautiful and your photos of her are all amazing
