my two babies love to give trouble...they both have a habit of tryin to trip me when i am walkin, jumpin on me with their claws or even tryin to grab my foot each time i walk and try to bite it...
what does your cute furry friend do...

Frodo hides under the bed and then launches himself at my legs as I climb into it

Any other mischief usually revolves around finding new and inventive ways of stealing food. His most recent discovery was how to open the fridge.

bootsie likes to knock my cell phone and my contact lens case off my nightstand...I usually have to wake up and blindly scour the floor for my contact lens case so i can find my cell phone

What don´t they come up with. Skitz is forever coming up with new ways to entertain himself. Just yesterday he played me for a fool, and ended up pinching my chair! (read his diary) Little rascal.

When Mum lived with us for a while a few years back, he used to walk along her bedside table and one by one knock her stuff onto the floor. He only ever did it when he wanted her to get up. He knew THAT always worked. Yet he sleeps in with me, and know´s I will ignore him. Until he launches himself from the top of the bed head onto my stomach. That always gets me up.

Andy started off playing with my feet when I move them under the covers at night, but that is coming to an end (I shake a can of pennies everytime he does it - he´s finally learned that "playing with feet" means "loud scary noise"). Sophie has no real mischief (apart from pooing outside her box when she´s annoyed). She does the Skitz-like trick of jumping onto my stomach sometimes in the morning if she´s on the far side of the bed from the door and can sense I´m about to get up and get her breakfast. I guess the loud scary noise of me going "oooofff" isn´t discouraging enough.

Snuggle, your kitties are "hunting" your feet. If it gets to be too much (and with two of them fully grown it someday might be) you can retrain them to attack toys (like feathers on sticks) instead. I usually do that by dragging the toy around with me when I walk around my apartment or do chores. If they think your feet are fair game, they might attack other peoples and that might not end up so well eventually...

Bibi will climb up to my bed on weekend only as she knows I will wake up late and give me massage but she always want treats after that as a pay back

Angie loves to groom. She´ll sneak up on Sunny and get a few licks in before he bops her on the head with his paw or struts away in disgust. I often wake up because I feel tugging on my hair - it´s Angie giving me a kitty shampoo!!

When Romeo was younger, he endeavoured to remake all dry floral decorations of the house…
Calypso attacks all that moves under a cloth. The winter it is bearable because the feather bed is thick but the summer, aïe, our toes suffer !

My ginger boy Rascal has a habit of mutilating my roll of toiletpaper. I once bought a whole new pack and forgot that I had left it on the bed. I just heard this funny noise and when I got to the bedroom, he was covered in pieces of toilet paper and he looked very pleased with himself. He also grabs the end of the roll and runs to the other room, leaving a trail of paper behind him.

My little tabby girl Muffin swings on my curtains (she is two years old) and slightly heavy. When she realises that I´m fetching the spray bottle to spray her with water, she runs to the bedroom and "hides" behind the curtain (thinking that I can´t see her) with her whole bum sticking out.

We live on the first floor in a security complex and we have to hang our washing on those wooden easel things. Cody, my 4 month old ginger boy (my new addition to the family), does gymnastics everytime I hang the washing. He climbs to the top of the easel using the wet clothes and then he swings on the clothes.

My kitties also have the habit of climbing into my cupboards and finding mischief. Like throwing all the pasta out of the containers and playing with it, when you then walk into the kitchen you just hear the crunching underneath your feet. Lady Lea (my callico girl) was rescued from a very poor community where she was very malnurished. When she had just arrived at my house (while still feeding her babies) she used to jump onto my kitchen table and steal my entire loaf of bread and hide it in the bedroom.

What these darlings don´t come up with....

Tegan will snuffle at the door of the toilet when I am in there. often MEOW for all she is worth till I come out lol. Also she will jump on anyone´s lap the minute their bum hits a chair lol. It is like she is on constant Lap alert! She also picks her kibbles up with her front paw to eat them but won´t do it with any other food. She loves to tear up and down the hallway and trip anyone who dares try and get to the bedrooms up too!

Gotta love her!

Princess Isis climbs up my legs to get onto the kitchen counter. She does this many times every day. I scream in pain, but she doesn´t care. The children think it´s a huge joke!

Well I came very close yet again and surely lost another of my nine lives......I played with a stick in the garden and it just up and bit me...My Mommy says it was a "snake"...not posionous thank goodness......Every thing in the garden is so lovely to play with....I don´t know why everyone is making such a fuss? Anyway I spent the night at the Vet Hospital and i must say I felt awfull last night but my Doctor is such a nice man and made me very comfortable....I had a sleep in theatre this morning and now i don´t feel anything but a cold breeze on my neck where they shaved me. I hope to be home soon!!! I suppose living in africa is a bit more dangerous ?

Arwen has been launching herself at my legs today to see how long she can stay on. Its ok when you are expecting it but a bit alarming when you are not. Also she has been putting her toy mouse in her water bowl and staring at it floating.

25.June 2008 02:43

HAHAHHA don´t ya just love it when they put their toys in the water1!!! Skitz is forever making a mess, he drops his marbles in there and then fishes them out!

25.June 2008 02:48

That reminds me:

When Mum lived with us she has a fish tank, with fish. Skitz was totally fascinated with them. We could never leave the door open coz he´d be up there trying to catch them. He fell in that tank so many times.

One day we came home from shopping and Skitz comes out to greet us and he is sopping wet. Mum and I dropped the shopping and ran in there expecting the worst. We both doubled up with laughter. EVERY single water ornament and piece of plant was scattered all over the room. The fish were all fine and swimming around in a bare tank, except for the four marbles he had dropped in there. We both had this image of him fishing stuff out, looking at it, "No that´s not what I want" and flicking it behind him. He never did catch those fish, but oh he sure did try!

26.June 2008 01:00

that was soo funny furrypaws, did he ever succeeded in catchin the fish...

MichyD i do worry about these two rascals attackin other people but it seem they do not like to associate much with other people, mostly they enjoy testin new tricks on us...
