I have been on this site for a few days, and I am already enjoying myself.
The one thing I have noticed is I can´t find a thread anywhere which talks about us, the loving owners. ( I know we can just veiw the owner´s information, but where is the fun of being able to kinda talk to each other, and ask questions?)

My name is Merin, I live in Victoria of Australia. I am 23. Been married for almost 10months now. My husband´s name is Jason, he was born in Scotland and became a permanent resident here in Australia almost 5yrs ago.
I have 2 sisters, both younger then me. Aged 20 and 18.
I play a lot of the Sims 2. And sometimes World of Warcraft. I am pretty big gamer geek to be honest.
I like collecting vintage pictures, and baby clothes, and I am currently working on my family genealogy.
I am also working on my first novel. A very hard work in progress.


That´s my husband and I on our wedding day I have about 700 pictures of that day. over 2000 were taken. Sunniest day of the month as well. Very lucky.

I am Licia, living in Rome for 5 years now with my Roman partner Cristiano, and of course my furry baby Oliver.
I came from San Antonio Texas, usa, but I would like to think myself a global person, I also lived in Andalucia Spain, Yorkshire England and Tokyo, Japan.
Besides my love for Oliver and any cats in general, my other passions are cooking and being a foodie, I have learned so much since I came here about authentic Italian food and it is still an every day learning process, and so much fun!! To balance my appetite I am also into fitness, I practice many programmes inspired from Les Mills. I also love playing with web graphics, especially photoshop is my favourite "toy"!!
My current project is our new website about international cooking, time consuming work but loads of fun, also I am learning so many new things along the way!!

I´m an "older woman" (never mind how old). I´m wacky and a big nerd, who loves computer games and internet forums. I work from midnight to 8am with an insane couple of guys - when I first started working with them they tried to shock me with Boy Talk, but let´s face it, I have four brothers and I´ve had a very interesting life, so there´s not much that shocks me anymore!

I love reading and I´ve tried my hand at writing but I´m not organized enough to finish anything I write, so I have lots of unfinished stories and a couple of novels. I used to sing publicly - folk singing when I was younger, blues singing when I got older.

Right now I´m having a Quiet Spot in my life - very little social life, by choice, since I´m enjoying being with myself and with That Cat I live with. I´ve never married or had children (also by choice), although now if I meet a rich man I will marry him in a heartbeat so I can quit working and go back to horseback riding, an old love of mine!

I do have a wicked sense of humor - far worse in real life than anything you´ve ever seen here, I assure you. I also have a deep love for other people in general, something I did not have when I was younger.

I love reading and writing (poetry, and short stories), singing, music, some sports, walking in the mountains, humour, people and animals. Oh and a whole lot of other things.

Hi, my name is Connie and I too am an older woman, never been married my choice, and I have no kids my choice, I have always lived in smaller towns while growing up, but now I live in a city and I love it. I have 1 cat she is my child. I love playing games on the computer but I am not what one would call a gamer. I love to cook and I watch cooking shows and shows that are about animals as I have always had pets in my life. I love this site because people here are better friends to me than some of the people I know, and real friends are hard to find and this site has given me many new friends (thanks UC). I love music and reading but I tend to gravitate to the kids section in the book store, there are some good reads there, but I have gotten good titles from people on here too. And I love visiting food websites. I have a few people I pass catmails with on here too and thats fun. And I love to laugh and I love searching out funny animal humour and pictures.

I have a fiance named Jason - he proposed to me in Venice, Italy so that was very romantic.
I love video games like the Elder Scrolls series and guitar hero, but right now I´m hooked on FFXI.
I also read quite a bit and may one day try writing a novel, but I think I need to experience a few more things.

I don´t go out much anymore (also by choice); used to go out every day and night (and do some work besides that) but now that small apartment is my castle, and I enjoy the time I have with hubby and our red-and-white-terror.
Work has taken over big time, much more than I had planned, and I should know better after a couple of years in the ´coal mines´. That´s why I´m searching, thinking so hard, and trying to find something more fulfilling.

I used to be a moderator until about one hour ago. And I loved doing it.
I resigned a few weeks ago, but I couldn´t stay away, and the star remained. Still, it took too much time: very busy job, and tonight I asked for the moderator rights to be removed instantly.
Can you believe how sad I feel? Ah well, that´s me: can´t decide, hates to say goodbye, but in the end all will be just fine.

Hi, my name is Benj, I´m living on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia - find the eastern most point of Aus., go inland about 40km, and there I am with my wife, Samantha, my 10 mth old, Atticus, and my five kittens (plus any fosterees from the local shelter).

During the day, I work as a geologist for a gas exploration project in the region. In my spare time, I´m trying to (slowly) renovate our house from it´s current condition (the previous owners were apparently fans of the ´80´s public toilet genre of architecture).

Sometimes, when no-one is watching, I bunch up the doona on the bed like a boat and pretend I´m a pirate.

I ran as a local candidate in the last Federal Election for the LDP (a libertarian party). I love Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Red Dwarf and most things by Chuck Palanuik. I also love Dr Pepper, but it´s hard to get over here.

I´m Lecy, 25 years old. Married. I work as a private tutor (at home) my students ages from 4 years old to 12 years old, the only reason why I work is for my kitties(doggy)... I spent ALL my salary for them ... I easily got nervous and very attentive on my kitties´ health... If my friends want to see me they need to visit me here at my house, coz if they will invite me to their house, they know that I can´t come.... I can´t go outside without a companion (weird?)...

I don´t watch television for 6 months now... and I reall love thi site... and I don´t want to hear my family calling my babies as CATS, DOGS or ANIMALS,...

I am 35, not married or human kids (both by my choice). Have 3 siblings all younger, & a great Mum. Once upon a time I was a computer programmer (main frames) but I left that after ten years of working 22 hours a day, 7 days a week. Now I clean houses to earn some moola. I get just enough to get by, it can be tough but I´ve done the other. I prefer less money and more life.

My social life revolves around my animals, mostly. We go to dog club, and train for agility. My BFF (human) lives in New Zealand and most of my other mates (human) are spread all over the country. I´m more a home body. I can´t drive at night anyway, the headlights trigger migraines. But I am very happy with what we´ve carved out.

My animals are my life. I am very passionate about animal welfare. I love people but will cut someone out of my life in a heartbeat at the first hint of animal cruelty. I once dumped a long term boyfriend coz he laughed at an incidence of an idiot feeding a dog bourbon. Figure if he did that he really didn´t know me at all anyway.

Currently single and have been for a long time now. Any bloke would have to be super man to get in here now. Very set in my ways and refuse to settle.

My animals are my kids although they are treated as animals, as thats what makes them the happiest. I love this site and have made many wonderful friends, both human and feline.
