As we all spoil our cats am sure ther are times when we make that ´special dish´ or have some particular food we give our cats. Maybe as a reward, birthday or just cos its a day we want to be extra nice
. Lets share them so we all get different ideas. I know Zvonek love new dishes as it were and am sure so do your cats.

I give Kashmir a bowl of pedigree and top it off with treats on the top! She loves it, she might even be able to wolf it down as fast as you, Zvonek! |

Skitz loves the dried liver treats I give the dog! He loves them sprinkled over his wet food! He also loves roast beef, veggies with gravy. If ever I make it for me I make a little meal for him too! The rest only like their cat food! Not because I don;t try and treat them, but they just turn up their noses. Like "Hmmmf I´m Not eating people food!" |

when ever I am cooking fish, seafood or open a tin of tuna candy is always there! She sits on the table expentantly waiting or jumps down to inspect her bowl. I always put some aside for her. You can hear the enjoyment as she is munching away. |

On special occasions my cats get prawns. They love them.....especially the big ones. They love steak too. Their favourite is the one that is already cut into the stir fry strips. They prefer that to the chunks and when I cut it up (I obviously don´t do it well enough!). That´s not really a treat though because they have that all the time. Another favourite is fresh fesh.....both cooked and raw. |

Beau gets temptations as a treat, but only occassionally, and only on special occassions. I would say he gets chicken as a treat, but he gets that on a fairly regular basis. |

I once watched a show on organic and natural food items you can give your cat. It really helped me to understand the cat pallet. They said that cat´s love bitter things as well and no sweets. I beg to differ because my Boo Bear loves to share my rasberry cheesecake (wrapper licking) with me. Once a week I´ll give my cats some medium rare, room temperature salmon. or just tuna. Cassie doesn´t care much for salmon, but prefers the tuna. Learning how to cook healthy meals for my cats really opened my eyes to a whole new world of good eats for them. |

Question of what is special gets blurred as Oliver regularly gets a bit of what we are eating and likes so many things. Though he eats variety of stuff he seems to particularly like, judging from his enthusiasm, grilled salmon, prawns, buffalo mozzarella and pieces of parmigiano, and crispy bacon, and oh, not to forget some sweet treats like cornetti (sweet croissant), whipped cream, custard, creme caramel, and cake icing!! |

My cats are very picky so I haven´t find any special treats for them. They are just like Songbird´s cats - they want to taste, then they sniff and walk away without tasting. |

Viz will only eat dry food so I am limit in choice when it comes to treats. But at Christmas time, I always put a Christmas Stocking under the tree so he has some dry treats to gorge on (he normally wrecks the christmas tree when sniffing the stocking and trying to prise it open prior to Christmas Day LOL!). |

Every week we have treat night. We come home from work we yell, TREATS and everyone comes a runnin´ . They all sit in a circle even the dog, except Salem who´s in the lap nearest the treat, and we feed them mostly bits of ham, roast beef, chicken (China will only eat the chicken) and turkey. The funny thing about our cats is when it comes to food no one ever fights, sworn enemies will sit next to each other and eat in purrfect peace. |
