Dry or wet food

Tilt does not like dry cat food. When I try to persuade him to eat it (by simply not giving any wet one for some time) it ends up back on the floor. He does not chew it at all. I could give him only wet food but I worry that it does not do as well as the dry one with vitamins and so on.
I give my cats special Purina Or Royal Canine food for older, sensitive, livining in-home cats. I hoped to stop Tilt throwing up so often by feeding him anti-hairball food. It ended up on the floor as well. Nothing seems to work... Do you have some suggestions? I would be grateful...

Actually I found a partial answer myself in the forum "Feeding your cat" in thread "Six reasons not to feed dry cat food". Very interesting article but there are various replies to it in the forum so I am still in a little doubt...

I have found that a small amount of dried food in the morning (50g for Tyke) and a pouch in the evening is enough. I do spoil him with treats though. However this is counterbalanced by the fact that in the evening if I am home and he is not looking for food I do not feed him. Sounds cruel but he definatly knows how to show he is hungry so there is no problem.

I don´t think there is anything wrong with dry food. My cats have dry food out for them to eat all the time and have wet food for breakfast and dinner.
Maybe you could try wetting Tilt´s biscuits with a little warm water and see if he likes it better that way.
