Whereas made research on the effect of tea on the cat (see http://www.unitedcats.com/forum/34/fl/113/t/6815), I have just made an incredible discovery and I am certain that this product will make fury. The big companies understood that the animalist market was a juicy business.

I have thus to discover that there was a water special for cat. It is marketed in France in a famous petshop.

The manufacturer insists on the fact that it is a “daily drink” with the “balanced mineral properties”. It contains “extracts of green tea” (“decaffeinated”), “vitamin C”, “soluble corn fibres” and “a polyol, diuretic natural and recognized to improve the micturition”.

Not to trust with the Anglo-Saxon consonance of the mark of this product because that does not have anything British (afflicted, the frog eaters thought of it before…). This drink is manufactured in the East of France.

But the adventure of this product does not stop there because now, it also exists for dogs ! You can get the traditional bottle but also the format travels with integrated bowl !! The service marketing is very creative.

Wait, I can still surprise you ! This water also exists for the hamster and guinea-pigs (vitamins C and E), for rabbits (vitamins has, B6, B5, PP, E) and for the pipe cleaners (vitamin C and out of soluble fibres).

Astonishing, not ? I do not know you, but me, that gives me thirst !
By curiosity, I believe that I will make taste this water for cats to my cats and I would hold you informed of their reaction - to follow.

Did somebody hear spoken about this famous water, or even already gave it to his cat, dog, rabbit…?

My tap at home is full of quality water.

I bought a water filter specially so I could give Kimmy clean, filtered water. They are very sensitive to smell and tap water tastes horrible to them, I am told. Me? I make do with tap water and the odd bottle of mineral water, I´m not as fussy.

They never stop finding ways to part us from our cash?!

Whenever I change the water in the cats bowls, they have a drink immediately. They like fresh tap water.

my cats only drink out of the fresh bowl oe directly from the faucet

Viz will only drink water but he prefers rainfall water as he often drinks from the bird bath or puddles in the garden.

I have a Brita pitcher which I use to fill the cat bowls. But hey, I like champagne myself - no reason there can´t be a pet version. If I catch Sophie sneaking money out of my wallet, I´ll know if it´s available in Canada!

I never paid attention if this water were indeed on sale.
I often give mineral water to my cats because it happens that the water of the city is too strong (odor). I acknowledge that I would be rather curious to see the reaction of my cats if they were to drink this famous water for cat.
Promised, if I see it, I buy it and I would hold you informed.

Fresh tap water is what we give to our cats. They love the drink well.
I think the bigger the bowl, the tastier is the water for our cats. That is why we have our cats´ water in big bowls.

As long as there´s brain in my head, I´ll give my cats tap water. That´s what we drink too.

Tap water works for me, the cats and the mice. It´s quite wet and very refreshing.

I tried cat milk once and just got a look of disgust so back to tap water which sometimes Tigs likes straight from the tap

I would never buy bottled water for myself or my cats. Kempton water is the best tasting water compared to other parts of Tassie. Where we lived before, the water had a bitter taste to it.
Lucky Brooke and Constantine love the water here and I keep a big container full on the deck for them.

My guys drink out of a dog bowl hehe and they seem to be thriving on good old tap water

Geez, I´ve recently seen in the nearest supermarket this special water for hamsters and guinea pigs - in my opinion that´s going too far...just like MichyD I´ve got a Brita pitcher, which makes tap water good enough for my cats - I can find no reason to give them something "with extracts of green tea". They´re very healthy and happy without it.

My cats like fresh tap water too
