So, my boy is having his first birthday
and I was wondering like "what to serve?"
Has anyone got ideas or links where to check out? It would be nice to bake a "cake" for my boy, but is it possible to bake it for a cat? Or just a stupid idea? Also confectionery ideas are very welcome.
What would you serve on your cats birthday?
Boy likes almost everything exept wildfowls.

I once made Monty a sardine cake. I squashed them all up and put them in a little mould then put them in the fridge until it firmed. He didnt like it but. I now know that he just doesnt like sardines. |

I make my cats their birthday cakes out of the tinned mushy food they like. I put it in a mould and then I sprinkle crushed liver treats on top. They love it, and what ever is left the dog gets. |

The kitties seem to enjoy salmon & tuna mix cakes with the gravy from their canned food on top as an "icing". I like to "decorate" with small bits of crab meat and dots of their vitamin paste (they love it, and it´s good for them). |

Confectionary treats are not good for them so I would not give them anything like that. Beau loves salmon so I ususally go with that. You could give them a fresh piece of cooked salmon, or make salmon patties, or even put their regular food into a mold and then serve it. |

Barney has a cupcake, doughnut, or whatever I have handy with one candle on it every birthday, just to get his photo taken with ~ although if it has cream he gets to lick some off ~ his Daddy usually eats the cake and Barney gets to eat his own favourite meal. This year it was roast beef as we were having that ourselves and he loves it, he had his own little dinner of beef, gravy and chopped veggies ~ and he ate the lot! |

With Ftse birthday I baked him a real cake (in the shape of his paw) he licked the icing and we had the cake. I also bought him biltong and a presie (they always get that) I just spoil them on their b-days with more tummy rubs and eats that I know they like. |

For special occasions like birthdays, I give my Smudge a tin of special cat-tuna, not to be confused with regular tuna. It normally has a pic of a cat on the tin when it´s specially formulated for kitties. ^.^ |
