I think I understand. Bread products are making Kooty have diarrhea. Breads, and grains in general, are not that good for animals. It´s like feeding a human potato chips. They need foods that are primarily meats. Did you stop giving Kooty bread products when Kooty got diarrhea?? I hope so. If not, I would stop immediately. If the diarrhea continues after a few days of being stopped, I would take Kooty to the vet to make sure there´s not something else going on, like maybe a virus or other stomach problem.

my cat ignores the bread but she loves butter, but Cleo does not go for too many human foods except ham and chicken, cats are carnivores anyway, mmmm meat is good.

Hey there, MaryC has a good point. Breads aren´t nutritionally important for cats, though many cat foods have grains in them. Proteins are what they really need. If bread gives Kooty diarrhea, don´t let him have any. Has the vet given him something for worms?

Mahy007, your english isn´t that bad. I´ve seen people who´s first language is english speak it worse.

No bread isn´t good for cats. They are carnivores, they need meat, anything else is like a treat, which means small amounts on occassion. I would be more likely to think that the water poop is a symptom from the worms. Did you get it sorted??

I would rather read the "bad" english of the international people in here, than struggle through the abbreviated, poor enlish of American teenagers!

Mahy, I so agree with everyone here, you speak well, so don´t ever be shy!!
Oliver loves bread, especially cornetti, Italian leavened sweet croissant, he just can´t get enough of that, but he only gets a small nibble each time, as others said, it is not an ideal diet for a cat!

When Michael stay in China, he not interesting bread and I think may be not good in taste. When he moved to Hong Kong, he is quite interesting to smell the bread especially some expensive one. As I think they like deluxe stuff no matter what is bread or fish or snack or ............................

Mahy, be sure to contact the vet if Kooty continues to have diarrhea after stopping the bread.

Frodo stole a loaf of bread once when I was at work. He managed to drag it out of the bread bin and into my bed, where he sat and munched away on it till I came home and caught him looking very pleased with himself with bits of bread crust all around him.
Amazingly, apart from a bit of diarrhea the following day he was fine and still looked for his evening meal. I shut and lock the kitchen door when I´m out now, because he can open it by jumping on the handle and putting all his weight on it.

my cats adore bread and they have no problems what so ever after they consume it,but then they eat food that most cats wouldnt like, like hot chili con carne or garlic and chili veggies

Oh daftdog, that is soo funny! The image I have of Frodo in the bed with his prey all consumed and spread all over the place. They are so cheeky. Isn´t it funny how they take their "prey" into the bed. When Skitz finds what he thinks is food, he always snakes it into the bed, before eating it. And more often than not realise he doesn´t like it, and just pull it apart.

I was telling Mum about Frodo and she said her cat Luigi got hold of a packet of 12 bread rolls once while she was out. Turns out he didn´t really like them, but he successfully ripped each and every one into tiny little pieces. And it too was in her bed! He made it into a game.

Mugger likes blueberry muffins, but only if they´re not too sugary. I only let him have the smallest amount, though, since it does give him watery poops.

Mahy007, your English is fine! Please don´t ever let a concern about language keep you from posting.
