I´m writing this on behalf of a friend from tempe Arizona who has had two lovable strays hanging around.
He already has three cats and lives in a condo so its out of the question to take in another two.
He feeds them daily and lets them in from time to time to shield them from the elements but he can´t take them on permantley.
They are both rather affectionate and were malnourised with matted coats but he has got them too a level where they are clean trusting and putting on well needed weight.

If anyone can help please let me know!
One is Black the other ginger and he has photo´s of them if anyone wants to see

thanks guys fingers crossed!

Awww - they´re both so sweet!! What´s the black cat´s name?? Boy or girl?? It looks like a Hallowe´en kitty....

11.July 2008 22:48

aww i wish I could help but I´m in CA. They´re both beautiful cats.

I will need a boy. Boots will only tolerate males, but I will talk with your friend and chose one.

Is there anyone else here in AZ who can help. I can only take one. I have a small place. Im hoping for the black one so can anyone take the sweet orange girl?

Teri

13.July 2008 12:29

Awww...the orange one is a sweetie. If I hadn´t just adopted Miracle I would have definitely taken this one. I will see if any of my friends are interested. Most of them have multiple cats already unfortunately.

13.July 2008 12:32

I know and there are not many AZ people here. I know you are at your limit and I can only do one because my daughter migh send simba to me.

but between us, maybe we can find a home for the sweetie.

How old is the ginger one?

13.July 2008 17:11

from what he can tell about 4-5 years old

13.July 2008 17:12 | changed 13.July 2008 13:13

and the black one seems to be about one year old
My friend also said the black one is actually a little untrusting and he is trying to gain its trust little by little to rehabilitate it first

If its a boy then I can wait until he feels the time is right. if they are both girls, I will just have to choose wisely I guess.

14.July 2008 02:44

I adopted Miracle through a wonderful Rescue Center that does some very positive work in the Valley. Has your friend contacted a Rescue Center?

Its great when I see people here doing what they can for some poor homeless kitties, Teri13 you rock and I hope the other kitty gets a home too I am in Canada we have our share of strays too.
Good luck with getting the other kitty a home.

thank you, I am awaiting speaking to him before I choose for good. I know I will give one a home. It is so hot in AZ for a kittie to be homeless. I found lou in the summer and he was panting and very hot. it was sad.
