Hi,
I am taking care of my friend´s seven month old kitten at present and I have noticed that her third eyelid is showing quite prominantly in both eyes. She is eating and grooming herself and doesn´t appear to be ill but I have heard that when the third eyelid shows the cat is feeling off colour. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

If the third eyelid is showing, and it´s predominant you REAAAAALY need to call the vet ASAP. They may or may not have you bring her in for examination. Regardless, the vet needs to be contacted. By the way, is she playing like a normal kitten, and going to the litterbox okay??
