I am always excited by new buddie requests but does anyone ever reject a request? I mean I am not saying I am not fussy about who my Kimmy can be friends with but most, if not all, the cats on this site seem perfectly suitable. Gorgeous even.

Do some people pick and choose? Say only the black and white ones or only pedigree ones?

I have never rejected any requests and would not coz all cats are gorgeous - Some of my requests have been rejected and some have been partially rejected (3 out of the 7!!). I know of one person who specifically stated on thier profile that they would not accept requests from Rainbow cats, but other than that I have no idea why people reject requests. Ebigum

Buddies are the most important thing on the site to me. When I first joined, I asked every cat to be buddies and had so many unaccepted requests. It was making me really sad until I realized why.

Now I´m more selective. I check to see the last time the user was online - if it was long ago, I don´t make a request. Also if there´s an "empty" profile of the cat or something foolish is written there. This checking has cut the unaccepted requests by about 90%. And as soon as an unaccepted request is 3 weeks old, I delete it.

I´ve never refused a request and never will. One of my two cats had a request refused and it hurt because I couldn´t understand why - my other cat´s request had been accepted by the same user.

I find every single cat on the site is gorgeous in one way or another and Sunny and Angie are proud to have so many great buddies!!

Oh no...! I am so upset for your cat! That´s mean. I think it must have been a mistake? But once, when thinking of cat friends for Jamie, my mum´s cat I found myself going for boy cats because I think he is a bit of a boy ... not interested in girl cats. Of course girl cats approached him and I willingly accepted their buddy requests ... maybe we make these decisions subliminally.

secound of all i considered disabling the buddies list all together because boo got over 30 requestsw the first day and i was thinking omg theirs no way we can keep up with that many. and i figured it would make the buddy page load slower and it does seem to. but i decided in the end to accept all the requests!

I love the buddy list even if I don’t get a reply it makes me happy that my baby caught someone’s eye and they can enjoy them as much as I do. I love enjoying the cats of other members here and every now and then to send a gift is great! This may not be the correct place to ask but can I still open a profile for my babies that passed away before I joined this great site? It will just be so nice to still be able to love them and appreciate the joy they brought although they are no longer around.

I will the idea of put a button of "accept all request" like the deny requests one, It´s hard to press accept 35 times if your pet has 35 requests, I never denied a request, but it will be EASIER if you make that...

Maybe deny request of someone or somecat that tell you something offensive, but nothing else

I had that one time... I saw a cat I liked and invited it no realising that the owner had more cats.... later I invited the rest when I realised they had more than one.

I invite and accept anyone... so if you need a friend or just more then add me

Well I have two cats on this site but only one, Kimmy, lives with me. The other one is Jamie and he is my Mum´s and lives with her. She doesn´t use the internet so I put Jamie on and tell Mum how he´s doing (well). But Kimmy and Jamie are very different cats and I may request a different buddy for one to the other but if someone requested to be our buddy I would never say no.

I think I denied a request once by mistake...it was first thing in the morning and i was still waking up So if anyone had a denied request from Frodo a couple of weeks ago, we didn´t mean it, sorry!

Other than that I always accept requests, including rainbow pets who are just as important and special as our living friends.

I have the same buddy thing with my crew. Booboo has 92 friends, Tianna has 91 and Toma has 14 lol He gets left in the cold for some odd reason haha...

I know I have denied a buddy by accident. Sometimes it lags up and causes me to hit the wrong button

I too have accidently pressed the deny request by accident,wish the buttons were a bit further apart....

I accept all buddy requests for my cats, even if only one of them gets an invitation. As for making a request, if a user has more than one cat, then I request all of them to be buddies. But it is a matter of choice. I understand some people may be a bit choosy who their cats should be friends with but that´s ok. I am not hurt if they only want to be friends with the living ones and not my rainbow kitties.

we love having buddies and making new ones. if one of my cats gets an invite and the other two don´t, i just have the other two invite the new cat to be their buddy.

I am always delighted to be invited by a new friend. I think it´s a little silly to reject anyone´s friend request., I just hope they understand I can´t pet everyones cat every day!

Iwould never ever deny a request! And I always try to request all cats a user has but sometimes its hard when they have so many I lose track of who I have requested and who I havent but its never intentional.
I know it makes me a little sad when people only want to be friends with my kitten and dont worry about requesting my adult cats ;-(
But yes I love having new friends no matter where they are, who they are, what breed of cat and regardless of rainbow or not

It would be nice for a bulk accept option, too.

mmm yes i agree with bulk accept button! And also a button so u can request to be a buddy of all a users cats at once rather than adding all of them individually

soon as i put a photo on my girls profiles they each got 31 buddy requests within 30 min i was so excited that i went and work my cats up from their daily all day nap and told them, im not sure weather they were impressed by me doing that at the time but im sure they are happy to have buddies, my youngest nem always sits next to me on the desk and watches the screen. we love seeing their photos and having friends from all over the world. we would never ever decline a buddy invite no matter what breed, colour, size or age,
