Ok, time to be honest now....are you as addicted as I am to this site? Do you find yourself at work, itching to have a look? Can you do without UC for a day?

I have been off sick for the last week and have spent all my non sleeping time on the site......

Please tell me I´m not the only one!!!

28.March 2008 14:05

Me too, so don´t worry cause you not alone. It´s so hard to resist Unitedcats

28.March 2008 14:17

I confess... huge UC addiction going on here...

Yesterday the site was down for a couple of hours and I couldn´t stop checking if it was back yet.

28.March 2008 14:34

Yes, me too, it is 1.30 am here and I am still patting cats, looking in forum, posting comments etc. It is very addictive and I get withrawals if I can´t log on.

28.March 2008 14:35

I try and visit the site most days, I´m just cat obsessed, I love them all!

28.March 2008 14:42

I am a fairly recent joinee but UC quickly became a part of my life. I think we should be proud of our obsession, that proves that we are officially cat-mad....

Hi group, my name is Joan, aka Sjaan, and I´m addicted to UC.
( Applause).
I´ve been an addict since last summer, and I can´t help it but I have to log in at least once a day.
( Sound of people ´hmhm´ing).
I try to minimise, but the pics make me smile, and I just want to look at them. It´s harmless, really, but my housework is suffering ( people -mainly women- nodding their heads vigorously), and my husband is often already in bed while I´m still in front of the screen ( people murmuring ´oh yes´ and ´same here!´).
There was this egg hunt, and it was a killer...( "Tell me about it!" can be heard from the group).

No Wendy, you´re not the only one.

Wendyj,

You´re not the only one! Sometimes I get so excited seeing some cute cats, just feel like want to pat them for REAL. I think Unitedcats site is a drug. It makes almost everyone so addictive. Maybe we should have a unitedcats rehabilitation site? *LOL*

I look at it during the day - at break times at work.

Hi, my name is Marsha and I admit that I´m powerless over UC and that my life has become unmanageable!!! But I love every minute of it....

29.March 2008 09:13

Hi, I´m a UC addict too. I´m giving up my seperate blog to primarily blog here. When I´m not signed in I think, "Has____emailed me today?? Wonder who needs pats???" ...And I can´t wait to get enough points to give a gift. I can never save up points anymore! Earlier today I was on the site when they took it down for a while. I didn´t know what to do...Should I clean house for a change..play with Beau...Yes, you are NOT alone!! (NOTE: I stayed online and worked a puzzle, and kept checking in between times.)

29.March 2008 09:17

I know it helped me through a very stressful couple of days...Thx UA and the many kind folks on this site....and yes i´m a addict too...darn egg hunt kept me up two days...lol

29.March 2008 09:22

Oh, me too,I´m UC addict! In the Philippines there´s a tradition during Holy week not to do things that you like, no tv, no playing, just go to the church and pray!

I not a tv addict, that´s why I chose UC as my sacrifice, gee I log out for almost a week! after easter, boom, I miss egg hunting! but still happy coz I´m able to pray more for my kitties/doggy and for all of you my UC UD family

My name is Ruth-Anne, I am a UC addict and now that my cat has become COTW I fear I will never be able to quit the habit.....but I am just learning to live with it now LOL.

(grudgingly)

my name is mary...and i am addicted to unitedcats. my husband goes to bed most nights shaking his head at the amount of time i spend on this site. it kills me to have to let him use the computer because i feel like i will miss out on something on this site while i am away. here it is, 1:31 am in texas...i´ve been on here since i got off work at 4:00 pm. i am not ashamed for my actions...i still manage to get the laundry done

29.March 2008 13:25

Hi everybody, i am hooked. Now that winter is on its way (good excuse to stay in bed with the laptop and UC) There are sooooo many gorgeous kitties out there I just love them all.

2.April 2008 13:15

My name is Anne, and I´m a UnitedCats addict. AND I´M NOT GIVING IT UP EITHER!!!!!

2.April 2008 13:22

My name is Ann and my real cats tell me I am neglecting them while talking for them and petting virtual cats and not writing or beading or other money making activities that keep their food bowls full. But I know how hurt all the virtual kitties will be if i don´t show up- -I can´t help myself. I´m so weak! (sob!)

2.April 2008 20:48

There, there, Darcyd.... you´ve admitted you have a problem, which shows you´re not weak! Now all you need to do is figure out how to give your cats opposable thumbs and all the problems will be solved.

Of course if cats have thumbs, I´m sure other problems will appear... like doors that open themselves and missing credit cards....

3.April 2008 13:43

You can bet your tail they won´t be patting other cats if they have opposable thumbs, Mugger. Cats are MY weakness. They have other fish to--er--fry.
