Well, I have some very good news to report at this time to all of you about my kitty, Little Boy Kitty.
I went to see him today, as he is at the Vet´s office and talked to her about him, she said NO, it is NOT time to put him down yet!!
He is not sick at his tummy , eating better, as she has given him kitten food and AD can food, the prescription types of foods you know. He is also getting IV´s 2 times a day to really flush out his kidneys. He has really been so good through all of this treatment too they said. He was so very happy to see me and I showered him with love pats and kisses He is going to be ok for now. I was told by the Dr. that he might have 6 months or longer in fact here. Every cat is different and as long as he will eat something and keep the water going through him well, and he should be ok for now. I will just take things a day at a time and I have already had a good cry and thanked the Lord for letting me have him longer
If he will not eat the special kidney food, atleast a GOOD quality food from the Vet´s office then for him. Main thing is food and lots of water for him. Plus he can have a half a Pepcid a day for upset tummy everyday . She did take him off of the high blood pressure pills though, as they MIGHT could have caused some of the throwing up issues.

I will be in touch to keep you all informed on how he is getting along. I will be out of town for a couple of days and will be back home Friday night . Little Boy will be staying at the Vet´s office to be sure he gets all of the care he might need, while my husband and I are on a short vacation. I can have a much better trip now knowing that my kitty is doing better

That´s great news. You are doing the right thing ...that´s exactly what he needs...fluids, AD food and lots of hugs.

My Caesar lasted for 5 months after being diagnosed with CRF...

Oh thank Goodness! That is great news. The LOSCH have been worried too ... I think their vigil must have paid off.
