As many of you are aware that Doug of dougsdogs profile sadly passed away on Sunday 20th July 2008.

Doug´s funeral will be held at 9am UK time on 28th July. With that, many of the moderators will have July 28th as a day of mourning / refelction and will light candles and say prayers for Doug and his family. If any users wish to join us in your own private prayers, please free to do so.

I did not have the joy to get in touch with Doug, I am quite a recent user... I will light a candle for him and I hope he is now across the Rainbow Bridge with his beloved pets. Hugs to his family in this sad moment. Elisa (SkyOne´s wife)

Oh how terrible. I am so sorry to hear this.

Oh dear me, I am so sorry to hear this sad news... But I am sure he will be enjoying the long awaited reunion with all his bridgebabies now... My deepest condolences to his surviving family, hope Amber is in good hands now?

How very sad for his family, I´m truly sorry to hear it. I hope his passing was peaceful. The ceremony will be around 2am tonight for me, but I´ll light a candle when I get home from work tomorrow.

Doug lived with his mom, Ann (an accomplished artist and poet), so Amber and dogs Meg, Thor and Juno are safe and well with her, although they must be missing their dad terribly - Doug was devoted to them.
