Cacoune and (especially) Calypso have the provoking practice to be rolled in the dirty linen when I prepare the washing. They are completely excited by the tee-shirts of my husband. Calypso is even accustomed to, in the evening, waiting until my husband strips himself to slip into the basketful of the dirty linen and to become completely crazy.

Oh, I so know what you mean Roni acts completely the same. He loves to sleep on on dirty linen, sweaty shirts, the towels we use after bath (but only until they are still wet)...in other words, everything that has had some kind of contact with us Probably he likes the smell of us. I don´t know really why, just suppose that is the reason. We "exchange" smells that way - something typical in the feline world (as much as I know)

boots likes to steal dirty socks and lou likes to sniff shoes. yes, shoes. I even caught him licking my sandals. I keep my feet clean but still this is gross. why would he like my sandals??

So, I dont know if it is because they are dirty but boots likes the dirty socks.

My Maya reacts the same way with dirty clothes-it must have to do with our smells.. Don´t laugh, but her dad once found her with his underwear on her head like a hat (he couldn´t stop laughing!!!!)!!!!! The thing is that I share the house with other girls and sometimes maya gets in their unwashed-clothes-bag, which is something I hate!

My Minoosh loves dirty socks, yuck gross, but she loves them and rolls around on them and then hides them around my house, she is such a cheeky little girl!

I bet maya with the undies on her head was so funny. funny story.

Oliver has a fettish with the sweat drenched towel I have just used for workout. I usually finish my training by doing some ab works then stretches laying on the mat with the towel thrown over it. while I am crunching away he usually senses the moment is nearing, and starts hovering about me, sometimes even tries to sit on top of me, then as soon as I finish it all and get up he gleefully hogs my towel all to himself, hugging it, bunny kicking it, then happily goes on to have a nap right on top...
I do assume it has something to do with my scent, but it´s all wet as well!! But he likes it very much all the same.

Queenie loves my scent. She will obsessively roll and smooch in my dirty laundry, and my clean bras. She loves my towels and face clothes too. It´s funny to watch. Due to the excessive fur I don´t encourage it though. And she will pinch bras if she finds them. She just LOVES bras. If she finds them hanging on the clothes horse in the hallway she will sit on her hind legs, put her front paws around the bra and rub her face in it for hours! LOVES the bra!

My dirty laundry basket is in the bathroom, and Turbo doesn´t come there, but whenever he gets the chance he jumps into the basket with clean laundry (that is in ´his´ room).
He nudges the lid off the wicker basket with his nose, peeks in, jumps and goes to sleep there.
Something I don´t want because of all the hairs.
(Ah, but there are wonderfull sticky rollers for those hairs... )

Hahahah...My Bibi doesn´t like dirty linen or unwashed laundry. She will run away if I tried to give it to her. But not like my late Bubu...he was deeply crazy of it. Exactly like Maya story...lol He will roll round and round when I throw few to him...especially undies he was so funny, He will jump into the basket, dig and dig the laundry and sleep on it...ohhh goshhh baby
