When we found Zosia she was just a few days old. Someone had abandoned her by leaving her outdoors in a box. She was a blind, snow-white kitten weighing not more than 0.12 kilo. Local kids treated her like a toy – they kept taking her out of the box, chased her and showed her to everybody. My mom saw her a few times while passing this place and at a certain point she decided to take the kitten home. On the very same day she went to the vet to get some special milk for kittens. Initially, we called her Frodo as it was difficult to define her sex. We massaged her belly to help her pee, not quite believing that we would be able to keep this 0.12-kilo furry ball alive. But we managed. The result can be admired in the photos. Zosia is a beautiful blue-eyed cat which bosses our dogs around. And although I was initially against the cat staying with us – mainly because of two dogs – I changed my mind since the dogs took to the cat. They sometimes even escape from her when she bothers them too much. She’s got a strong personality, definitely. Once, when she fell ill we took her to the vet where she was given a drip infusion and some injections. Despite her bad condition, she showed the vet her anger by puffing at her and showing her claws. Fortunately, she quickly calmed down and started to sightsee the vet’s surgery.
