Let´s put our comments on the new calendar in this thread and leave the publishing thread just for the calendar pix. Good job, Furrypaws. Now all we need are some dates! I mean, the numbers kind. But you really placed the pretty letters for the calendar months in great places and framed everything up nice. I, of course, look lovely among all my favorite things. Food.

Only one concern.
Tegan looks a bit Anime-ish--is that okay with her? I mean, the outfit is cool and school girly but her head is real big and her body is small. If she is okay with it, I am too. I just want all my models to feel beautiful all the time. Mr. Panchito

It was the only pic I could find where she was walking. I am happy to change it. I have sent cat-mail to Tegan, if she´d rather a diff pic, I will create a new page.

As for the nums, Ok I will work on that too. See what we can find, should be plenty of calendar creaters online.

I see I was too late since Kimmy already commented on the calendar page and then Furrypaws the calendar mom answered her. I deactivated the thread so nobody else would add to it. Furrypaws, if you want to edit it, let me know and I´ll reactivate it for you.
Re. the small pix. If Wolfie gets you a larger shot of Mugger, try to make it the same pose because Mom will have to remake his costume. It was drawn on, not cut and pasted or part of the original photo. And the pose is what´s so good because he looks like he is doing the Drac thing of holding his paw up to shield himself from the sunlight or a cross or something as he melts back into the night, babe! I think if we wanted to self publish this it would be worth it depending on the cost etc. But it is a fantastic advert for the site so if they had anything to contribute to it ...it is such great publicity for them? Anyone have any thoughts on this? Kimmy´s Mum xx

It appears Sonny has gone to his forever home. I´m trying very hard to send him thought waves to tell him how fabulous he and his darling Lil Pig look on the January page. We´re so glad everyone likes the calendar. FurryPaws has done a great job of putting it together and you all have done a wonderful job of coming up with great seasonal poses! What we were actually thinking was doing it as an e-calendar that you could just download. I don´t think we´d be allowed by the site to do it for money. Haven´t actually looked into that yet but it would still be cool to have a calendar of top UCat models, don´t you think?

I was thinking of an e-calendar too. That we download and print if we want.
So what sort of numbers do we want?

Boxes with the numbers inside, or a list of numbers with lines to write stuff?
I will hunt around for some demos.

Ok have found a calendar generator to make pages like this:


It can be any size we like, ie to match our pics.
I will have a play around and see what I come up with.

I´ll keep looking for another page type.

ANd my Mom is digging up the picture of me that´s a little bigger. It´s on one of the five computers She has lying around here. Yes, that´s right, FIVE. Four of which are too old to work anymore.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

I have found a way to publish our calendar.
At initial look it will cost us about $12 US each. Plus postage.
I will find the most economic way to distribute, either by a central postage point, which is where all the calendars are sent and we send a reply envelope with postage already on it.
(I already have a volunteer for that)

Or if I can make it direct order. I am looking into it.

The final product will be just like a bought one, with spiral binding and all.

We might need to make sure we get bigger pics of the four smaller pics, but I will co-ord that.

I think that is a perfect page type myself, Queenie and Furrypaws. Yes, Mugger, we need mo´ Mugger in October. Mom can redraw your costume on you if she needs to. By the way, we saw your three new pictures (and patted them) and were amazed to see that you do have four actual paws attached to the rest of you and quite a nice tail as well. How big a print run do they need to give us a decent price though, Furrypaws? Usually there is a minimum order. And again, I´m not sure if it´s cool with admin if we make our own for sale product here on the site. I was thinking of something for free download but I did notice that another cat, Stellaluna, is offering a link to a site of herself as the calendar girl. I haven´t checked it out entirely yet.

Well I wasn´t planning to sell it. I thought it was just for us here?

I have also discovered we can indeed have a download version for printing at home. Won´t have that proffessional look.

Oh, that price is per unit and we can have as little as one copy. I think (think) I can set it up to everyone can order individually -- Still looking.

I´ve have seen the finished product, GORGEOUS!
We do need bigger pics of Mugs & Cecil & Albert, they are a bit fuzzy. Still look good, just fuzzy.
