The 2 monkeys in the picture are climbing a palm tree. I can´t get my claws into a palm tree, I jump up it and just sliiiiiiiiiide back down again!

I like coarse bark, sink your claws into them, and some branches up above to aim for (the monkeys in the picture don´t have that, either).

And I´m only allowed to climb when Mama´s walking me on a lead. Oh well.

I like to climb onto the highest wall! Momma says it´s nearly 3 metres tall!

Me, Petite Fleur, I adore to go up to the trees. At the house, there are large maritime pines. I like to climb them. The difficulty is that one day I was pursued by a big dog and I found refuge all in top of a large pine. The problem is that I spent perched all the night and it has was necessary to call the firemen, the following day afternoon, so that I can finally go down....

That´s one of the laws of trees, Petite Fleur - what goes up must come down.

I used to charge up a tree as high as I could go (but I was always on a lead) and Momma always waited for me to figure out how I was gonna get down.

I´ve only been embarrassed once by her lifting me down (and I sank my claws and teeth into her because the process was so undignified). Since then, I´ve made sure I don´t climb into anything I can´t climb out of!

this tree that i am lying on is called a duhat tree. It has a sweet black fruit with the size of a big grape. It so nice and comfortable here, wherein i can see everybody down and can watch the birds flying and tweeting on the other branches of this tree.

That´s a comfy looking spot bigeye!

Actually, Petite Fleur, I didn´t quite follow my own advice, and went charging up a tree last weekend while on walkies. I can´t ever really go high, because Mom´s holding the lead. But I chose a bad tree, and charged up as high as I could go, but the limbs were too close to the trunk, and I had to stand on my front paws and turn around, and eventually, Mom had to (embarrassingly) hold my hind legs so that I could figure out what to do.

Embarrassingly, I reached out to Mom and asked her to lift me down, because I couldn´t figure out how I was gonna do it without jumping backwards - and all my instincts tell me that´s wrong - or standing on my front paws again to turn around and then I´d be in the same predicament!

It was embarrassing, but it was a hallmark for Mom, since usually I hiss and spit and claw and bite if she tries to lift me out of a tree!

I am an indoor cat and as there are no trees inside the house, I had to invent my own! I just love to climb the clothes airers and I can balance like a tightrope walker on the rods. I can even lie across them. Everyone thinks I am amazing and of course I am! They wonder how I can be comfortable but I just love it! I also like to play in the clothes that are hanging there too, but if there are not any mum leave the clothes airer there for me to play on anyway!

Hi all! I´m petals! I´m new here!! I climb lots of different kinds of trees in our garden! we have a big back yard and there is a mango tree which I climb on to get to the roof.. and walk along the balcony and into the upper floor of the house.. noone can keep me out! hehe

I also climb the coconut trees upto a certain height.. walk along the high walls... jump on to the neighbours roof.. and sit on their ledge where its cool and comfy... and where I can watch the all birds.. and sqirrels.. mm... heheP

We LOVE the apple tree in our back yard,cause it has so many branches!! But our favorite one is the Dogwood tree in our front yard. You see, thats where mom hangs the bird feeder & we like to sit in it to try & catch us a bird! We use teamwork sometimes cause those birds are so darn fast!!! my photobucket
