Just wondered if a Ginger cat is particularily inclined to being gentle compared to other cats of other colors and breeds?

I, Deelee am a very easy going cat (contrasted with the nonsense my mother says I think, but I just let her have her fun). I tolerate all other cats with a relaxed style and am very sweet and gentle unless, of course, you are a mouse.

I let all the other cats have first dibs at the food bowl and am very patient with people, and dogs, too, although I do have a habit of being a rather shy kitty around strangers and stay near my Mom and Dad humans to be sure I am safe (they are my protectors).

Is this the way all gingers are or is it just me????....I have noticed that most of us are boys, so are we really unique in that way, I must say...........

I also love to purr and sit close to any of my human family or my new cat friend, RC. I love having a cat friend sit close to me and give me love kisses with his or her cat tongue. Friendship means a lot to me.

And yes, our behaviour is diferent to the other kitties, we´re gorgeous, gorgeous gingers!

I think ginger cats should be classified as a breed of their own. Rascal and Cody are both different than the others. Loving, affectionate, gentle... need I say more.

According to my vet, most ginger cats are born male and if you own a female ginger you can consider yourself very lucky! It apparently has to do with the genetics of a cat (just like most callico cats are female).

boots is very clinging to me and very loving. and gentle like sdw says. she is a girl, my only girl. she rules the house against the boys and is half theri size. I ahve always wanted a ginger and now have one.

I think full ginger tabby seems to have a certain straits. And, vet told me that ginger kitty, 70% are male. But hey, I got my Pig who is ginger female.

I think ginger kitty tend to be more huggable. My fren´s two ginger male tabby are both v huggable.

My maomao is too. Mewmew have patches of ginger, so aint that... hmm...

Homer my ginger boy is a large, gentle giant of a cat. He is so affectionate and gentle but he talks in a high pitched girly sounding meow which doesn´t go with his size! It is so funny to hear this little tiny meow coming from a great big cat! He truly is a very loving cat
