Dear Dr. Zeus,

I like green eggs and ham. But I have never seen green eggs.

3.August 2008 23:24

Dear Doc,

you just opened yourself up to all kinds of green eggs and ham jokes. will this work for you in your new practice??

Mr.

4.August 2008 00:24

Hey Doc, I´m not one to confuse Zeus with Seuss myself, but if we ask the wrong question or annoy you, will you hurl thunderbolts at us, or smite us horribly in some way? Respectfully (and worshipfully) yours, Sophie

I am now giving due consideration to changing my name....excuse me for a moment...

"Hey Mom....can I change my name?" - ZEUS

"No, Zeus...you can NOT change your name" - MOM

"Why not? They are all making fun of me" - ZEUS

"I don´t care Zeus...that is the name that you were given. Now, stop being silly and go do your job" - Mom

"Umm....okay" - ZEUS

Okay folks, the Doctor is IN. Now, who was asking about green eggs? Or was it green ham? Whatever. ...If you leave the ham out of the refrigerator for a few days it WILL turn green. And we have all seen green eggs at Easter time.

Next question?
DR. ZEUS

Well...Mr. That is perfectly obvious. You still suckle on your blankie because it tastes so good.

Dr. Zeus

4.August 2008 09:58

it has to be mom´s blankie too. and then I kneed my claws and suckle like a baby.

MOM! I WONT HAVE ANY FIRENDS LEFT IF YOU DONT STOP

4.August 2008 10:27

Mr.

Kneeding and suckling are perfectly healthy, normal activities of young kittens....oops..I meant to say....kitties. It does not demonstrate a form of neurosis.

However, f you keep fretting about it...you will become neurotic.

Why would you want to stop something that you enjoy and makes you feel so good? Are you hurting anyone? No. But, if you stop, you may become a neurotic cat.

Dr. Zeus
PS...don´t pack your bags just yet....just remember, faraway pastures may always look greener. And JanCarol´s pasture is far far away.

4.August 2008 14:27

And Mr. JanCarol is away on a trip for a month. If you go to her house, you won´t find her there.

Speaking of suckling, Dr. Zeus (not to be confused with Dr. Seuss of green eggs and ham fame), I am two years old and still suckle on my doggie mom, Lilli. I only do it at night so noone can see and during the day I attack her so she won´t know how much I love her. Is that neurotic?

4.August 2008 16:20

Pancho here: Dr. Zeus, if you leave the ham out at my house it will not turn green because I will eat it. This is also true if you leave ham out at Jan Carol´s house or Wolfie´s house. If you wish to test this theory, by all means, someone, anyone, feel free to leave ham out at my house and see if it gets a chance to turn green--pleeeeease? Pancho

4.August 2008 23:07

yes, but piper is home and jancarol could have a surprize of 2 gray cats instead of 1 when she gets back.

In the case of Wolfies house, your house and Jan Carols house...the ham should be locked in a separate room to test this theory.

Dr. Zeus
PS...What a sneaky way to get a piece of ham, Pancho. Nice try but no cigar.

My dear Sophie...
I am simply a doctor not a God so you don´t have to be afraid of thunderbolts.

Mr.

Therein lies the problem. Who will feed you and change your litterbox. A cat must learn survival techniques and the best way to survive is to remain in the domain of the person who adopted you.

No Miming..that is NOT neurotic. It is love and comfort.

Of course, you attempt to hide these feelings during the day as you wish to conceal your true feelings. I say...let it all hang out and show the world how you feel. It is perfectly normal and healthy.

Dr. Zeus

Well that´s a big relief Doc Z. Though personally I think all cats are gods and the ancient Egyptians had the right idea worshiping us. I think my human should worship me more and give me whatever I ask for, but she´s a bit thick when it comes to understanding me. Any advice?
