Here in southeastern Ontario, we´ve had a lot of thunderstorms over the summer, Brown and Molly are all right with all the noise, and I know some dogs get scared, what about cats?

Betsey watched a rainstorm for about 3 minutes. Then she got her fur wet and she ran back into the house meowing, hopped onto the bed and started to clean herself. When the big thunder rolled she hid..the noise of thunder scares her..she´s a cat who truly does not like loud noises...and wind seems to be a mystery to her..she runs from that as though the wind will lift her off the ground and carry her away.

Was she scared..yes I think so..high wind and loud thunder really, really frightened her and she ran to where she felt safe..her bed and me

Sunny and Angie are both indoor-only kitties. It would be interesting to see their reactions if they were out in the rain that we´ve had so much of this summer. I think Sunny would look indignant and strut inside with his nose in the air. Angie being Angie - well, she´d probably just stand there ´til the rain stopped.

They don´t pay any attention to the thunder. It´s usually me who jumps because the thunder here is so loud compared to back east. And the lightning flashes don´t bother them either. They´re two very cool cats!!

Awww....poor thing. She must have been a handful when it storms.
