What attracted you when you saw british shorthair for the first time?
I gotta say that I love their chubby cheeks Probably their "fat" look made me think of buying one

They are nicknamed the teddy-bear cat; which is so true, I mean, look at their faces! Also, they have a wonderful temperament and beautiful plush fur.

well... they told me a BS wouldn´t meow too loud nor scratching everything... =)))
what I really like is the fur, just lovely! it´s beautiful and short, so we don´t have to brush them every day. besides, those cupper eyes are amazing.

Concerning the meowing- it´s funny but my Artie keeps meowing loud all the time! Everytime he finds himself alone, everytime he can see us coming, everytime he can´t find Merlin, even when we talk to him
On the other hand Merlin is very silent (we think he lost his voice on the way to our home- it took us 3 hours in the car and he was meowing all the time he was in the box- and since this time not a "word" from him)
