Introduction
I´m the King in my household! I am very playful and love to retrieve balls, sticks and whatever my Mom tosses across the room. I know..I know..I am not a dog...but. ..."cats just wanna have fun". My real Mommy and Daddy were champion "show cats" but my Mom wanted me as a pet not a show cat.

Congratulations Zeus for becomin Cat of the Week Tell us the story behind your name?
When my Mom and Dad first brought me home, they didn´t have a name for me but when they watched me fly through the air catching balls, stuffed toys and sticks they exclaimed..."Wow...he´s just like lightning". So, they named me ZEUS after the Greek God of Lightning.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Comforting my Mom after my Dad (her husband) and Napoleon passed away. She cried an awful lot so I was always there to cuddle into her and dry her tears. I tried to make her smile by doing tricks for her too and anything else to make her happy again. She seemed so sad for a long, long time but eventually she began smiling again whenever she played with me.

What is your best memory?
The day that my Mom and Dad brought us into our new home...and the day that Mom bought us a huge 7´ cat tree. Wow! I was so excited that I flew from the floor to the very top in one jump. I claimed the top perch as mine then Tigger and Princess took the other two. However, that was before Miracle came along. She has now claimed EVERYTHING as hers. But, that´s okay because we adore her.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I want every kitty in the world to have a loving home like ours. Every kitty should have enough food, a safe place to sleep and someone to love them. If I could win the lottery, I would set up a Cat Trust Fund to help homeless kitties throughout the world. I have learned a lot from Miracle who was abandoned. We have taken her in and given her lots of love and shared our food with her (and our toys too). My only wish would be that other homeless kitties have the same chance as Miracle and Tigger.

Who is the person (cat) you respect the most, and why?
My Mom because she has remained so strong even though the world she knew had crumbled down around her. She always took care of us no matter how badly she felt and always attended to our needs. When she found Tigger and Miracle in a Rescue Center, she provided them with a loving, caring home too.
I admit that I am a "Momma´s Boy" and am proud of it.

What are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
I love to chase sticks with feathers, and toss my stuffed toys around. I like to sit around and "talk" to my Mom. We have endless conversations. I don´t always understand what she says but she seems to understand me purrfectly.

What three phrases best describe your personality?
I am very playful and happy.
I am loving and loveable.
I possess strong cat-purrsonal skills which helps me interact positively with all the other kitties in our home.
