About me
My brother Koko and I were in a litter of barn kitties. We were taken to the local Humane League where our (now) mom was a volunteer. They asked her to foster us because we were very young (about 5 weeks) and basically feral. We were afraid of everything.
When we first got here, Angel hissed at us and tried to beat us up. But I persisted and became friends with her and all the other kitties here.
We were supposed to live here about 2 weeks. But then my brother got very ill. He had to be on special medicine, and they put me on medicine to as a precaution. We were not allowed to go back to the Humane League to be adopted until he was well.
I stayed by his side night and day and helped him get well. And in the process the humans here fell in love with me. My mom did take me back to the League, and she says she bawled for hours afterwards. She went shopping to forget her sorrow. Then she went back to see if we had gotten adopted...and we were not there. She called daddy to tell him we were gone. She hoped against hope that Koko and I got adopted out together because he needed me.
Little did she know what daddy had been up to that afternoon. When she got home she saw something white skitter across the dining room floor (you guessed it; it was ME). Daddy said, "Happy birthday!" She was very happy, indeed...and so were Koko and I.

What makes me special
I am very loving. I get along with all critters that enter our home. I like to groom them and show them affection. Even the bunnies are my friends. Mom says I am probably the most tender-hearted kitty she has ever known.
When my brother was little and sickly, he needed constant attention. I stayed right by his side until he got better. For the first year of our life he would yowl if he was separated from me. Now he has made other friends, but that is okay with me. I can share my love with others.
