Tomsk was such a beautiful cat. He and I had a thing between us where we knew what each other was thinking, I am convinced of that! He used to stare right into my eyes sometimes and I immediately knew what he was thinking or wanting. One evening, I was watching tv and all of a sudden, I could see Tomsk in my peripheral vision in the doorway to the kitchen. He was just sitting there in his perfect stance with tail curled tidily around him, just staring right at me. He gave me a ´silent miaow´ and I got up and he turned tail and went into the laundry room where his bowl was and then looked up at me. His water bowl was empty! He had asked me for a drink!
And if I was feeling a bit down for any reason, Tomsk would come onto my lap, put his paws around my neck and give me the most gorgeous hug with his face buried into my neck! He was such a lovely natured cat and I would give anything to have him for just one more day!
