Well, Mummy is writing this for me because she can touch-type....at least until the laptop battery runs out!
It is a BLACKOUT due to the storm. The house is shaking, the wind is HOWLING but we are safe in here beside the fire...but unfortunately in the dark! Daddy has gone fumbling about for the torches and battery lamp and Mummy is seeing via the dim light of her laptop and mobile phone.
The storm rolled in this afternoon, uprooted the bins, blew some sheep around and anything loose on the ground became airborn. Mummy wouldn´t let Tank boy and Missy moo outside when they got home from school, and had to rush them from the bus up to the house in double quick time!
The lawn looks like an obstacle course of debris and there is a bit of tin roofing iron blowing down the road! I will re-iterate that all are safe here at the Evans clan...but the power is total BLACKOUT. it is minus 10000000 degrees outside as well, and you need antarctic survival gear to go and get wood for the fire outside.
Daddy just found the lamp and torches, but will have to sign off now before the battery goes dead. Any cats can teleport over...bring torhes and blankies and you can share the lovely BACON Mummy cooked up on the small camp stove.
