About me

I lived at the Hermitage Cat Shelter for as long as I could remember. I use to have a mean, grumpy personality. When anyone would pick me up, I would bite or claw to be put back down on the ground. I was very mean that I had to go to my own special room with a friend named Sonic. Every monring I would be put up with Sonic.

Around 2007, a new employee was hired at the shelter. She noticed how I was and slowly started to work me out of my bad habbit.

After a while of this kindness I was getting from her and a few others at the shelter, I stoped biting. I did, however, still had the bite in me and would still bite people, but when she picked me up, I would purr to her.

She loved me so much, she would give me treats and alots of love before she had to go home for the day.

One day, she never came back. Found out that she was fired. Few weeks later, I was euthianzed.

This broke her heart. She wanted so much to take me home and live happly with her and BJ. But help came to late for me.

At lest I had my last day with her before she left. She spent 2 hours with me petting and letting me sleep on her lap.

Beautiful Stash,

I have tears in my eyes after reading your story. It sounds like you just needed a chance, but like you said, it just came too late!

My heart really goes out to you and your friend. It´s such a shame that you never got to experience what it´s like to have a nice house. I hope you are experiencing that now over the rainbow.

Oh poor sweet Stash, what a sad story. But at least you enjoyed some kindness. Sometimes us wilder kitties need some patience before we trust our humans. So sorry you went to the Rainbow Bridge too soon before enjoying a loving home. We hope Treat and Kittibits are looking after you over the Bridge.
