Thanks for the wonderful ideas on getting your ill human out of bed.. as I have used most of them the human is showing signs of healing...( unfortunately no dead rats, bugs or birds this time
This then, shows that the time to roam freely without any reprimand is slowly coming to an end...
So, I would like to ask you all to assist me once more, this time in defining the true essence of clawing... so that I can get the best of it for the least time possible (she´ll be up an running in no time..)
Yes, this ages old remedy for all kinds of problems for the feline species... I love a good claw - not that the humans like me clawing.. they´ve bought me all the latest inventions man has made for kitties to claw without ruining the furniture, "precious" Persian rugs (.. emmm.. hellooooo....then why do we have Persian cats????) or (my favorite) loose papers/newspapers and boxes in the house...
Kitties cannot be blamed for clawing the furniture - for one thing humans should not put it THERE - in the middle of the living room, all cuddly, with wonderful patterns... and what´s with the screams.. you KNOW it´s there for us to do it,... so we do it.. I mean, come on...
Tell me, is there anything better for the claws than paper you can shred to pieces in less than 60 seconds???? Not to mention how soothing this is on the nerves.. specially if it´s an empty shoe box, that you can barely get into, and it´s on the bed (luxury)...
I am also a fan of ripping newspapers with teeth... have you tried this? Awesome.. you should focus on making the pieces as tiny as possible, so that when you run through them latter, they rise and fall down in a cloud of flakes
Okay, I am here, waiting for all the cool kitty suggestions you might have.. ok, I´ll take a nap first.
