Nel mio passato probabilmente c´è stata una famiglia che mi voleva bene, perchè quando ho trovato Marcella, Georgia e Valentina, ero pulito e ben nutrito, anche se avevo tanta fame arretrata dopo qualche giorno di vagabondaggio in cerca di gattine. Mi ha trovato il medico dove la mia mamma lavorava, che raspavo alla porta dell´ambulatorio, mi ha nutrito e coccolato e poi mi ha lasciato libero di andare; sono ritornato di nuovo alle 5 del mattino e mi ha riaperto la porta, ho mangiato e bevuto e sono andato di nuovo via...nel pomeriggio, mi sono presentato nella sala d´aspetto del medico e, incurante di tutto, mi sono messo a ronfare su uno dei divani! Quando il medico è arrivato ha detto alla mia futura mamma di andare a vedere chi c´era in sala d´aspetto (lei era entrata da un´altra porta) e così mi ha visto....e mi ha portato a casa! Era il compleanno di Georgia, la sua figlia maggiore, che pochi giorni prima aveva chiesto quando avrebbero ancora avuto un micio in casa (erano ormai tre lunghi anni che non avevano gatti) e la mia mamma aveva risposto che non ne avrebbe cercato uno apposta, però, se un gatto si fosse presentato, non l´avrebbe certo mandato via...era anche una bella e fredda sera d´inverno con la luna piena ed io ero tutto bianco: Merlino sarebbe stato il mio nuovo nome, magico felino che riportava la gioia ed una nuova vita in quella famiglia dove da un po´ albergava la tristezza. Il veterinario disse che avevo circa due anni...Adesso vivo con Valentina, la figlia minore della mia mamma, che per amore si è trasferita a Torino,ed io la vedo con la webcam quando non è qui in vacanza.

In my past there was probably a family that wanted me well, because when I found Marcella, Georgia and Valentina, I was clean and well fed, even if I had a lot of hunger back after a few days of roaming in search of female kitties! I found the doctor where my mother worked, I scratched the door of her lab, she fed me and cuddled and then left me free to go, but I returned again at 5 am and she opened the door again, I ate and drank and I went back on ... In the afternoon, I presented in the waiting room of doctor and, never mind of all the people waiting,I began to snooze on the sofà! When the doctor arrived said to my future mother going to see who was in the waiting room (she had entered from another door) and so she saw me.... and brought me home! It was the birthday of Georgia, her elder daughter, who a few days earlier had asked when they would have still had a kitty at home (there were now three long years that had not cats) and my mother had replied that she wouldn´t try to find one... However, if a cat had presented, did not say him to go away ... it was also a nice and cold winter evening with the full moon and I was all white: Merlin would have been my new name, that magical feline reported the joy and a new life in that family where too longer was the sadness.
The vet said that I had about two years ... Now I live with Valentina, the younger daughter of my mother, who for love was transferred to Turin, and I see her on the webcam when she is not here on vacation.
