The other day I was laying on the guest bed. It´s my new spot to sleep. Mommy is use to me being downstairs in the evening with her while we both watch TV so she came looking for me. She patted my head and thought it felt warm. She then went a patted Tuffy´s head and back to mine. She looked pretty silly doing that! She asked my human sister to pet both our heads to see if I had a fever. They both thought I did. I thought they were both acting very strange. Then mommy pet me all over, saying "purr Gelly, let mommy know you are alright". Of course I didn´t purr. I don´t purr on command! Before I knew it I was whisked off the bed and into her arms and down the stairs we went. I heard the lid of the wet cat food and she gave me some which I devoured. Mommy then knew that I was feeling okay if I could eat. Once I was done eating, she and I cuddled on the couch. I sure tricked her as I NEVER get wet cat food at night!
