Last weekend my parents brought in an enormous object in stainless steel, and set it on the floor of the dining area. They called it something like a "kitchen hood" or "fan" or something. For an entire week it was left there sitting on the floor, up against partially the chest freezer and partially a large column. It was shiny, huge, there was a nice square opening for entry and behind it an ample enclosure. I liked it right away!! It became my space inside, I had fun popping in and out and making a surprise ambush against mummy and daddy and stuff, and above all, playing "house". How cool of my parents to get me such a pressie, well I was the cat of the week after all, I guess I deserve it.

Yesterday mummy and daddy went out for another shopping run, I was expecting them to get some nice furnishing for the interior of my "house" but instead they came back with a whole bunch of hefty bolts and nuts and stuff, and oh dear daddy started another uproar in the kitchen with those dreaded drills and electric saw, noise, vibration, dusts flying all over the place, so I had to run for the cover and get what little peace I could manage. It went on hours and hours, one of the worst mess I have ever had the misfortune to encounter (but mummy tells me it was 100 times worse when they were fixing up the entire flat last year, before I came...). When it was over at long last and I came out, Oh dear my "house" is gone!! It is hanging over the stove and oven in the kitchen, completely inaccessible!! What´s the point of hanging up there, it´s my pressie!!
Well my mummy consoled me that now we can do some indoor barbeque and I will get some extra goodies, hm, better be real good!!

Anyhoo aside from all the fun with my house, or "hood" or whatever they call that thing, it was a great week for me. I really enjoyed all the warm congratulations and greetings from all the friends, I was one chuffed kitty!! Thanks so much everyone, you guys are the best and I really hope everyone gets their turn soon!!
