About me
MY MEMORIAL
I have lived a wonderful life with my human Mummy & Daddy. I went just about everywhere I could with them, and travelled in the car quite a lot.
I was able to walk on a harness and lead, just like a little dog, and people used to be quite surprised when I went into hotels for afternoon tea ! The staff were very kind, and used to bring me a saucer of milk !
During my life, I never once killed a little bird, and even sat near some blue tits in the summer house, and watched my Mummy feeding them. We had a large pond with frogs in it, and I never harmed them either. I was very well behaved, and loved my family.
One day, just two months before my 21st birthday, my Mummy came home from work early. My Daddy had gone to get her in the car, so I was not alone for more than then minutes, and when she walked in to the hall, I was lying in a strange position in my bed, and she knew immediately that something was wrong.
She had known that I was not well for some months, as I had several ´mini´ strokes. She had prayed to God that when the time came, that she would be with me.
Well, that dreaded day arrived, and she and my Daddy cradled me in their arms, and whispered to me to stop me from being afraid, but it took me 20 minutes to die - covered with lipstick kisses on my little head.
On that day, a little Maltese was conceived in Scotland, and she found her way into my broken hearted parents lives.
My Mummy says that she does so many things just the same as me, and even makes the same little noises, which is unusual for a dog, and she thinks that she is my re-incarnation.
That is fine by me, because I know I was very much loved, and Snowdrop will have a wonderful life.
