I´m staying out extra late tonight.

That´s the problem with making friends with wildlife - you never know when they will go away. Or if they are okay when they do. It´s all fine and well for a koala to move on and never come back, but when a broken winged crow goes away, you have to wonder: is he okay?

Mom told me she saw a little red possum electrocuted on the power lines. Our neighbor says that they can put possum guards on the lines so that they don´t walk from one to the other and get electrocuted in between. This little red possum fell to the ground on the road. But we know it´s not roadkill because it´s the 3rd possum to die there this year.

I can´t remember if my little friend was that red or not, but she was about the same size as the killed possum. I´m really worried it was my little friend.

I wish Mom would refill the bird feeder NOW instead of tomorrow so that I could see if my little friend is okay. Mom says Lil Miss Possum was too curious for her own good, as if something happened to her Mama before her possum lessons were completed.

Please pray with me that Lil Miss Possum is okay and I will get to see her again.
