Cinammon, you are the bravest of the warriors but sometimes nature wins the battle .... Once you leave this world you won´t feel any pain and you´ll be able to walk again in the rainbow bridge!

The Rainbow Bridge story
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Cinnamon, buddy, even before I crossed the bridge I was reading about what a tough time you had and it is SO good to see you here on all four paws with your tail held high, looking around, checking things out, bounching at the butterlies and birds. We´re in the middle of another rockin´ the rainbow bridge harp concert and--well, I guess I didn´t have to tell you! Lookit Cinnamon go, angel cats! Dance, Cinnamon, dance! Wahoo! Eva, we understand, don´t put the pressure on yourself. You don´t have to give details if you don´t feel strong enough. We can be patient until you get over it gradually. We all miss Cinnamon so much and share your deep sadness. We were reading each post with so much hope...
Our condolences extend to Walter, who we know helped a lot and surely loved Cinnamon as well.

Thank you so much for EVERYTHING. I just have not been able to keep up or "think" about it without crying. I know it´s because I feel responsible for sending him back to the hospital instead of keeping him here. Some people who care for animals may not be the best. I wish I could do it over.
