Mom thought I had poo stuck to my butt where my hip is dislocated. She tried to remove it and saw it was bleeding. The reason she looked was she thought there was blood in my cage.

Well off to the vet we went. Evidently my muscles in my hip got injured when this happened to me and festered until it came to the surface. It was like a big scab. The muscle underneath is scabbed over too. The vet called it kitty jerky...that is what it looks like, the size of a silver dollar. Got a smaller one on my private part. Got meds, going back next week to see if I´m good enough for surgery. The vet cut off everything that he could (dead skin) And if there´s no infection, I will have my hip fixed, my tail removed, and he will try to "fix" the hole in my skin. If I don´t pee on my own after that, he said he could make me like a girl.....say a prayer he doesn´t have to do that.

Honeybear went to the bridge today, so mom is coping with alot.

Your hip is dislocated? When? Sorry i havent been able to talk to you! im sorry! Duckies Hip is dislocated 2 I pray that the doctor doesnt have to do that! Does your tail HAVE to be removed?! Poor baby! I am so sorry! And i am so sorry about honeybear

This all happened a month ago. His tail is dead because of the fractured vertebrae. His hip is dislocated but he had no control over bodily functions so vet wanted to wait. Now he has that infection that just broke through and he has to get that under contol before surgery for hip and his lifeless tail. He is NOT happy with the lampshade. Hope he copes ok with it so he doesn´t ingest the silver sulfadiazine. Poor baby has gone through so much.

You lose your tail? Gosh, Cinnamon, we´re sorry, but hey, if you get to be alive, us cats adjust pretty good to changes in stuff. Plus you can tell everyone you´re a manx. Kittibits, Cisco and Pancho
