About me

I was a skinny, sickly little stray of about 5 months old. My future mommy was working at a convenience store one night when something crazy happened. This fellow came up the street and hit a power pole with his car, and hit it again and hit it again. He was trying to get to a woman (his girlfriend (ex-girlfriend)) who was standing behind the pole and, who people were saying, had just jumped out of the car and ran behind the pole when the fellow hit the brakes.
Needless to stay there was alot of excitment and there I was in the middle of it. I was under foot, looking for someone to pay attention to me and , maybe, give me some food. I was very hungry. If I had a home, it was not a good one that would let a kitten out in the streets of the city with all the diseases, fleas, dogs, hunger and thirst. Some of you know what I am talking about.
So the human took me in the store to hide an be safe. When the car-fellow left, persued by the police, she came it and saw that I was not in good health. I had a cough, especially when I got excited, kind of like asthma from anxiety, and I was very skinny. She bought a tin of cat food that they sold at the store and I ate some. I was
sooo happy to have someone paying attention to me that I couldn´t stop purring an fkneading the floor.
The human saw that I was a traveling flea circus and she could let me in the house with her other cats, so I lived for 6 weeks in her van. She put food and water in there for me. She made me a place to sleep and loaded it with flea powder.
After a few days in the van, I still didn´t have a
name, so she called me Astid after the Astro van that was my home.
