About me

Hello! My name is Penelope. My Mommy rescued me from her horrible neighbors. When my Mommy first saw me I was begging outside her patio door for food. I was cold and hungry. I was very scared, and also very sick. The people who owned me wouldn´t let me in the house or feed me. It was winter and it was cold. There was ice falling from the sky and I had a sore face and a sore paw. Mommy started feeding me every day and gained my trust. She named me Penelope, and then one day Grampy caught me and put me in a cage, I was so scared. But we went to the vet and they helped me. After a long time of being sick I finally and slowly became better with lots of love and care. I do have slight paralisis on one side of my face, but I am a very healthy and happy girl now. I have a good home with lots of food and toys and other cats to play with! I am very happy my Mommy came to my rescue, because I was too sweet and too loving to be left outside and not cared about. My Mommy also reported the neighbors to the local SPCA. Kitty rights are very important to her!!!

I love Fancy Feast Seafood Selections wet cat food, and Whiskas Temptations kitty treats in any flavour!

Favourite toy

My favorite toy is my leopard print feather on a stick. Mommy always plays with me.

Likes

I like my Mommy. I love my Grandfather a lot. I love my Grandma. I love my 3 sisters and my little brother. I especially love my baby sister, Diana. We are very close and play together a lot. She is a Princess and a lady just like me, so we get along very well! I also love Sheba, my little sister. When my Mommy rescued me I was pregnant with kittens, but I lost them. So she brought Sheba home from the pet store for me. I was very happy and excited, and treated Sheba like she was my own baby. I bathed her, played with her, taught her things, and I even tried to dicipline her! (It didn´t work!)

Dislikes

I don´t like strangers or new people. I am very untrusting and afraid of people I don´t know, because I was abused before Mommy found me. I am scared of men wearing boots.

What makes me special

I am Mommy´s miracle. I am her angel. I beat the odds and Mommy saved my life. I also brought a lot of happiness and purpose to her life. After she adopted me she adopted 3 more kittens! I am very motherly to the other cats and always look out for them. I always leave one of my treats behind for Sheba, because I know she is greedy and likes to have extra! So I am very thoughtful and sweet.
