About me

When Cookie Dough was a kitten she was very sick. One day we went to Mckee´s pet store in Chubbuck and was just looking around. We were no there to buy anything. On our way out there was this kitten with scabs and earwax coming out of her ears. She had the pinkest eyes and she was so skinny you could count her ribs. You could feel all the bones inn her little body. The poor girl. The lady was trying to get rid of her. The local animal shelter would not take her, the Pocatello Mckee´s would not take her and the Chubbuck Mckee´s would not take her either! So we decided to take her home. When the lady found her in the barn she could not find any cats. No mom, no dad, no sisters, and no brothers. The kitten was all alone. As son as we got home we gave her a fresh bath. That night we thuoght of a name for her. She looked like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream. The next day was a weekend and we went to the store to get some stuff. We got Cookie a bottle, and some newborn kitten formula. She was to young to be away from her mom. As soon as we got home we poured the formula in the bottle. She was sucking hard and fast. We said "wow little girl you are going fast." And she was! She sucking so hard and so fast that she bit the whole nipple of and swallowed it whole! She did not stop sucking so we had to take the bottle away from her. After that we put the formula in a pan. She sat right in the pan and just drank! Now Cookie Dough or (Cookie) is a healthy cat. She eats like she is going to starve! That will never happen to her again
