Introduction
Hello,I´m a quiet little chap, but fun lovin and like nothin better than pokeing me nose into every thing, very paitent(Have to be livin with that Cecil),he is my bestist pal but I never tell im that.
I am a house cat but go for walks everyday, seen lots of wild life got so close to a dear once we very nearly touched noses(cool or what?),so you might say all in all I lead quite an exciteing life.
Albert, congratulations for becoming Cat of the Week. How will you celebrate it?
Well being a quiet shy little chap,I will be singing with great joy in my heart whilst sitting quietly smiling to myself, then will take great comfort by going and lying in my OWN BUNKER yes my own bunker that mammy bought me because she was so proud of me.We are also going out to lunch to celebrate at our favorate eating house by the river and I get to choose pudding, Ice cream all round.
There is already one Cat of the week in your family, Cecil, what is the secret that you both are so lovely and wonderful cats?
Thankyou for saying such nice things about us,we don´t think we are anything special but by reading stories from our new pals at united cats,we do seem to have a very full and good happy exciting life, and we both know our mammy is devoted to our happiness which gives us such a contented feeling, and in turn we are devoted to mammy
You´re a Norwegian Forest Cat. Tell us more about that breed?
We are a truly natural breed who as the same surgest originate from Norway, but how we originated is not completley know but NFCs have been known in folklore where it is said that they were family pets of the vikings and discribed as as being large with long legs, big ruffs, and ear tuffs, just like NFCs of today,In some folk tales they were referred to as the "Fairy Cat". The NFCs of today have developed by natural selection to be able to survive the harsh climates in norway but it is known that they used to creep into farmers kitchins to warm by the fire so they have all ways been know as cats that liked to be around people, but as the more remote areas became populated there was a realy big danger the breed would die out so a special breeding programe begain and thankfully the breed has gone from strength to strength and we still have these wonderfully big hairy giants with a gentle disposition, and Albert matches that exactly.
What is your greatest passion?
My Mammy going out for our walks but bestest is when we go on holliday we have done so many exciting things I climbed castles sat on the turrets been to Lands end which is the most westerly point on mainland Britain, went on a ferry to the Scilly Isles which was a bit scarry, been to Yorkshire where I had an encounter with sheep to rescue my brov Cecil, and I have been on a real little steam train that hooted and everything, but what I love most is playing with Cecil on our walks and like a true NFC I love water being around people and making friends with other creatures, and of course Climbing trees as a true blooded NFC Nearly forgot my beloved little white Polar bear I carry around and during the day in order put it in me food bowl water bowl and then litter tray and I love it so mmmuch.
What is your biggest strength?
Patience(you need a hell of a lot living with mad Cecil) My gentilness and calmness nothing realy bothers me I am just a happy go lucky kind´a boy
Who has had the most influence on you?
My mammy I adore her she loves us both with her heart and I will do anything she wants me to, and of course the C-man who i worry about all the time and when he´s cold I let him lie on top of me to get warm (I love im and when he nearly died I went a bit mad because I could´nt help im)but don´t tell im.
What is the best part about Unitedcats?
All the enjoyment me Mammy seems to get,and I get to show all our pics to other Cats all over the world and to swap stories with them, and for me Mammy to be able to show her true love and care she has for us and other creatures which is complemented by like minded people and am realy lookin foward to our next big adveture with Sir Mugger and co.
