Hi. I´m Muning and I was the first cat my mum ever had. I was a sweet girl who loved sleeping on my mum. She sometimes even let me sleep on her face. I was the one who taught my mum what purring is. Before I came she thought the purring sound was a growl. You have to forgive my mum as she grew up with dogs in the house.
I loved hunting and bringing home my catch for my mum to admire. She often woke up with a dead giant lizard awaiting her at the bottom of the stairs. Early on I discovered how to open the flap for the screen windows and was able to go out on my own.
When I was 6 months old, my humans went to the big city to spend the holidays with their human family and I was left with a caretaker. While they were away, the caretaker told them that I just did not go home one day before they arrived. My mum suspects that the caretaker did not feed me regularly as there were several cans of cat food leftover after their vacation (the caretaker has since been fired). My mum put up posters around the neighborhood but they did not find me. Neighborhood kids would report sightings of tricolored cats and off my parents went to check if it was me. They probably chased down all the tricolored cats to check if it was me.
So for all his posturings, Miming would never have been adopted if I hadn´t disappeared. I bet my mum still loves me more than she loves that replacement cat, Miming.
