Last gifts to this cat

About me

I was rescued from a lady that hoarded cats, so I wasn´t properly socialized. This makes me neurotic around anything "out of the ordinary". When I was still an outside cat, (I never went far because of being neurotic) I got shot. It was with a BB gun, so it didn´t show up on the x-ray, and the vet thought it had fallen out. It didn´t, and if you press on the right area, you can feel it under my skin! The vet says my skin has grown around it and it is being held in place. She says it is in a safe area, so don´t worry! I also have arthritis and diabetes, but with my family, I can get through anything!

Sadly, Rappy passed away in late summer of 2007. He laid down in front of his food bowl to wait for my mom and breakfast like he always did, but that time, he didn´t get up. He is the only cat we´ve ever let outside, and we buried him in the flower garden, In summer, it was his favorite place to lay out, explore, and sniff, while still being comfortably close to the safety of home.

He was only about 6 months younger than me, so I never really knew a life without him. We miss you buddy! Don´t have too much fun over the bridge without us! :`-)

I love an occasional morsel of chicken or tuna!

Favourite toy

String and Christmas tree tinsel (which I´m not supposed to touch). I sometimes try to swallow them, and they get stuck partway down my throat. Then, it´s mommy to the rescue! She doesn´t let me play for the rest of the day after that...

Sleeping in a warm bed next to my human sister, getting petted, sniffing the great outdoors (with supervision).

Dislikes

I have kitty eczema from being shot. It doesn´t bother me, but the baths I have to take for it do!
