I climbed a tree for the first time today. OK, so it was more of a bush than a tree, but it had a good view from the top. Mum was not at all pleased with me, which surprised me. I though I would get praise or even a treat. But no! She made me go indoors, and said, she would keep me indoors for a few weeks more, if I go near that bush again. She says, it is too close to the fence, and I could jump on the fence, and get out of the garden. Well, trust her to think of that. It would never had occured to me to do that. I was just enjoying myself climbing a little. And now she has gone and chopped it all down. Spoilsport!

WHAT?! She chopped down the tree! Oh what a spoil sport! That is just not cricket, just not cricket!
You will have to find something else to climb.

Well, she left about a 3 foot stumpy thing. You can still climb it, but it´s not the same. For a start, everyone can see you and what fun is there in that.

That is so unfair! Grounded for weeks and no more tree to climb once you have served your sentence! Maybe you should go on strike.

That´s mean! Cats are supposed to climb! Maybe not fences--they make this kind of fence that you can put on top of fence and it angles in so SUPPOSEDLY we can´t get over it. Hah! Your mom could look on the internet. Maybe if she´s sure you won´t climb out over the fence she´ll give you a new tree to climb. Kittibits, Cisco and Pancho
